– the most special day in your life and we want to help you make it that extra bit special. We can take away some of the irritations and concerns of ‘what wedding stationery do we need?’, ‘what wording should we include?’ etc.

We’ve made it even easier, you can download our Wedding Stationery Order Form, complete this and post it back to us – simple!!! You can find this form at the bottom of the Wedding Stationery designs.

Our Wedding Invitations are prepared complete with a reply card and envelope making it easier for your guests to respond, Order of Service (be that for a religious or civil ceremony), Place Settings, or Menu Place Settings and Thank You Notelets. Table Menus and Table Plans can also be arranged. Menu Place Settings make a very personal reminder for your guests to take home.

Your Invitation will be the first opportunity you have to create the right impression and the first chance you have to show your friends and family the style you have chosen for the ‘Best Day in your Life’. Some of your guests will want to keep them as treasured mementoes of your special day.

Mix, match and bespoke designs
Look at our designs, you’ll see some things you like very much and some that you don’t or are not too sure of – don’t give up! Email us on info@mto-cards.co.uk to discuss your perfect stationery. All our cards are entirely hand made in our studio here on the Suffolk, Cambridge borders and made to order.

High quality card and envelopes
We only use high quality card and materials for all component parts and make every effort to maintain consistent colour matching for the whole set.

Timings
It is usual for Invitations to be sent out approximately six weeks before the wedding, though this is not written in stone. You would therefore expect to receive your responses four weeks before the date and be in a better position to then send out Evening Invites if numbers are an issue. Don’t panic if you haven’t this amount of time left – we can still help you to get your stationery out in time.
When you are ordering your invitations don’t underestimate the numbers required, it is always a nice gesture to include one for the bride and bridegroom’s parents and maybe also for close relatives or friends even though you know they will not be able to attend, just to receive an invite is a lovely touch. Order a couple of extras – just in case mistakes are made when writing them or for the forgotten few!! We can help here too – so don’t worry if you do run short, we can supply you with the extras should you need them but the colour matches may not always be exactly the same depending on the materials used, they may differ slightly.

We have listed below some hints on pieces of information we will need to know in order to complete your set of stationery and hope this is of some help to you. Once you have booked the venues for both the ceremony and the reception you can then turn your mind to arranging the stationery.

  • Names of the bride, groom and the brides parents (or hosts)
  • Name and addresses of where Ceremony and the Reception will be
  • Date and times
  • Address to which the guests should send their replies

  • Dress requirements (ie Black Tie; Smart Casual etc)
  • Expected timing for the end of the ceremonies

It can also be very useful for your guests if you include other information, such as directions together with parking facilities, details of Hotels and B&Bs in the area and if you want a ‘child free’ wedding a simple, tactful note would avoid possible embarrassments later on.

  • Once the presiding officer (or cleric) has shown you the style of Order of Service they prefer to use, all we need to do is slot in your choices of hymns and readings (and who these will be read by)
  • Let the presiding officer (or cleric) see a copy of the proof before we complete the set, just in case they or you want any alterations.
  • Guest names for the Place Settings

Cards are produced as either A5 (149x209mm) or A6 (105x149mm - pictured) on quality 300+ micron card in either white or cream. The wording on the front is either : ‘In celebration of the marriage of (name) and (name)’, repeated in a banner down the page ending with the names of the Bride and Groom centred and in bold at the bottom of the text – or Wedding Invitation/Order of Service (as applicable) again repeated in a banner down the page ending with the names of the Bride and Groom centred and in bold at the bottom. Wedding Stationery Order Form

Terms and Conditions
Placing an Order :

  • Either download the Order Form above, complete and post to us
  • Or, if you would like to discuss your order in more detail email us direct on info@mto-cards.co.uk We can email you a stationery request form so that we can formulate your order together

Samples

  • We are happy to send up to three wedding invitation samples for the cost of one invite from each design; this cost is redeemable against any subsequent order placed. Initially, if you prefer we can email you a copy of the design , free of charge

Confirmation of Order

  • An Order Confirmation will be sent on receipt of the order by email within 24 hours, so please let us know if you don’t hear anything!
  • Once a design has been agreed , we will send out two proofs, one for yourself and one to be signed by you and returned to us as agreement that the order can be completed

Payment

  • When we send out the proofs, we include your invoice, 50% of which is due before we can start the order and the balance no later than one week before the order is delivered. We will send you a reminder by email in good time. Deposits are non refundable should you, for any reason wish to cancel the order.
  • Payment can be made by personal cheque, cash or online through PayPal, quoting your order number, (email us on info@mto-cards.co.uk for further details)

Alterations and Returns

  • If, for any reason you wish to change an order, please contact us immediately to discuss it. Small alterations can usually be handled within the price of the order, however, if a large majority of it has been completed extra costs may be incurred
  • We take a great pride in our product and set ourselves the highest standards but if you should discover a mistake on the order or your order has been damaged in transit then please contact us immediately so that we can rectify the situation satisfactorily

Postage and Packing

  • Is charged at cost. All orders are well packaged to ensure safe delivery and sent by Royal Mail ‘Special Delivery’
